interior & exterior detailing
New cars as well as used cars all benefit from a complete interior & exterior detail.
PERFECTION
Every 6 months your car needs a complete interior and exterior detail
At South Bay Mobile Detailing, we know what your vehicle goes through. From french fry fights and ice cream runs in the backseat, to trips to the beach and your first instance of spilled coffee at the drive-thru, the average South Bay Mobile Detailing client needs a complete interior and exterior detail at least every 6 months to freshen the carpets and upholstery, dredge out the crumbs and sticky residue from the console and cup holders, and to keep the hard surfaces, metals, and glass free from dust, dirt, and hand grime.
In more extreme cases, we provide innovative European steam cleaning, odor removal and control, and interior coatings to help protect against future accidents. SBD ensures that all of your interior surfaces and fabrics, including the carpet, are free from dirt, debris, and odor-causing bacteria.
Just because your vehicle is several years old, doesn't mean making it shine again is hopeless! The onslaught begins just weeks after you buy your car and it only worsens over time. UV rays from the sun fade the paint, a chemical process known as oxidation leaves the surface cloudy, and even rain and wind deliver a wallop of dangerous contaminants. One raindrop contains pollen, mold, bacteria, dust, soil, pollutants, plant parts, algae, and insect parts that leave dusty residue that is difficult to remove.
By bringing the state of your vehicle up to our standards for excellence, SBD works outwardly from there to determine what, if any, additional services are needed such as Paint Correction, Clay Bar, Semi-permanent Coatings, etc.

we clean your paint using clay bar.
South Bay Mobile Detailing hand washes every vehicle using a foamy, moisturizing professional-grade shampoo that is not only safe, but healthy for the paint. Going over every inch of your car by hand, certified automotive detailer Kike Sanchez sees problem areas before they cause permanent damage, and discusses with his customers, how best to arrest any problems. Then, using soft microfiber towels, we hand dry your car to prevent unwanted water streaks and water spots.

When necessary, Kike uses a special abrasive detailers clay to remove any contaminants that have adhered to the paint surface, and follows that up with a professional buff and polish using only the most highly advanced equipment to ensure no further damage comes to your paint. We then do a complete inspection to note any problem areas that need further "correction", and provide every customer with an analysis of any potential damage resulting from those problem areas. If any additional work is needed, we share that with our customers.
Kike also discusses long-term protection products like sealants, waxes, and semi-permanent ceramic coatings that will seal the perfection for months, even years, in some cases. Visit our Coatings section for more information on Ceramic Coatings Technology.
If we had it our way, every new car owner would call Kike Sanchez as they make their way home from the new car dealership and have him meet them there for a complete exterior detail! Contrary to popular belief, new cars and trucks do not roll off the assembly line completely flawless. Robotic painters are notoriously inconsistent, leaving behind patches of uneven paint, swirl marks, fine scratches, and holograms.
They also have a rough ride on their way to the car dealership where they are exposed to highway freight contamination, railway dust, and pollution from sitting in storage lockers and on outdoor lots near waterside docks, railway stations, and other industrial areas. Then, even after it arrives at the car dealership, your new car has been manhandled by dozens of delivery personnel, service technicians, salespeople, and innumerable potential buyers!
While the dealership cleans it up for you to get it shining, many of these flaws cannot be simply washed off, and most dealerships do not have a professional detailer on staff who knows how to remove those fine scratches, streaks, water spots, and swirls caused by their brutal environment. What you get is little more than a topical car wash to rinse away the dust.
Always get a "New Car Prep" detail from South Bay Mobile Detailing to remove all that contamination and any surface damage your new car has experienced. If you thought it was a shiny new object before, a New Car Prep will give your new vehicle a brilliance you didn't know was possible!
